Services at The Minster
I’m new to services at Grimsby Minster
Whether you experienced your first time in a Church recently, or you are planning on visiting us soon, we wanted to say a big hello and let you know you are extremely welcome here at Grimsby Minster
We have several different services held at different times, so we hope you find some which you like.
You may have a few questions – we’ll try to answer some of them here, but if there is anything you’re not sure about. Please get in touch
Today at Grimsby Minster
What happens at the services?
At all our services, someone will welcome you when you arrive and make sure you have everything you need to enjoy the service and feel at home. It’s best to come a few minutes early to get settled before the service starts, you can sit wherever you like and there are usually plenty of seats.
Do I need to put money into the collection?
It’s entirely up to you. Collections are taken at most church services, and we are very grateful for people’s donations.
Baptism
A celebration, a time to come together with family and friends; remembering you are loved by God, are part of a wider community and have a place among God’s people.
Weddings
We are delighted that you are considering getting married at Grimsby Minster! The Minster is a beautiful setting for weddings and we look forward to sharing your special day with you.
Funerals
Christian people believe that every single life matters to God. We believe there is hope in death as in life and that there is new life in Christ after death.
